FBA vs FBM
Why we sell merchant-fulfilled: faster launches, no inventory tied up, fewer fees.

The two models
FBA takes six steps before a sale: buy, prep, ship, wait for check-in, pay storage, then sell. FBM takes three: list, sell, and we buy and ship.
The FBA fee stack
Ten fee types can sit between the sale and your profit, from fulfillment and storage to aged-inventory, returns and removal fees.
Time to first sale
FBA makes you wait for receiving and check-in. FBM listings go live in 3 to 7 days, by plan, with no inventory arriving first.
Your cash
With FBA your money sits on a shelf while storage fees tick. With FBM the item sells first, then you pay the product-cost invoice.
Inventory risk
Unsold stock keeps getting more expensive: aging surcharges, storage overage, returns and exit costs. On FBM there is nothing to store.
Side by side
Upfront inventory, fees, time to launch, slow sellers and who does the work, compared line by line.
What you keep
Fewer cost layers, more of each sale: 10%, 20% or 30% of each sale, by plan.
Good to know. Fee ranges reflect Amazon’s published rates at the time of recording and can change. FBA can offer the Prime badge and Amazon-run delivery. Marketplace referral fees, returns, taxes and shipping apply on any model. MyPortFlow does not guarantee sales or profit.
